There are different types of policies available under Reliance health insurance which is Healthwise Insurance, Critical illness Insurance and personal accident insurance policy. There are two types of health insurance available, individual health insurance and family floater policy. Individual health insurance covers each individual with separate sum insured and family floater policy covers whole family in one policy with common sum insured. Health insurance portability is possible in health insurance product of general insurance company. Health insurance portability means shifting existing health insurance policy of general insurance company to another health insurance policy of general insurance company.

- Healthwise Insurance:- Reliance Healthwise Insurance policy is health policy which covers the hospitalization expenses. Health insurance is generally one year contract with the insurance company. Entry age for the Healthwise policy is 18 years to 65 years and it can be renewed up to 75 years. The sum insured options are available from Rs. 2 Lacs to 5 Lacs. Some of the key features of the policy are that pre-existing diseases get covered after 4 claim free years, no room rent sub limits, no co-payments and sub limits, no premium loading after claim, No per illness limit. Health Insurance portability option is also available under this policy.
- Critical illness:- Critical illness pays lump-sum amount which is equal to sum insured on happening of the covered critical illnesses like cancer, stroke, kidney failure and heart attack etc. Before buying the critical illness policy, it is always good to know which the critical illnesses get covered in the critical illness policy. Critical illness policy of general Insurance is the one year contract with the general insurance company, so the policyholder needs to renew the policy every year. Entry age for Reliance Critical illness policy is 20 years to 50 years and it can be renewed up to 55 years. Some of the key features of the policy are: It covers 10 Critical illnesses, sum insured option available from Rs. 5 Lac to 20 Lac, no medical check-up up to age 45 years, No claim bonus of 5% to 50% for every claim free renewal.
- Personal Accident:- Reliance Personal Accident policy covers the policyholder against the accidental death or disability. Policyholder's nominee received the lump-sum amount on happening of the event. Some of the key features of the policy are: Entry age at 18 years to 60 years, disability benefits includes permanent total disability where policyholder receives capital sum insured, permanent partial disability where policyholder will receive specific percentage of sum insured, temporary total disability where policyholder will receive 1% of capital sum insured for the limited period of time.
