ICICI Lombard, a non-life office has started a claims service initiative in their motor insurance sector called a 'Red Carpet'.
Under this claim initiative, if the customer insures 50 vehicles would then be considered as the 'Red Carpet' customer, surveyors would be sent on a loss location for shifting of the vehicle in case of claim, however if the surveyor doesn't turn up within six hours then the full claim amount be made payable without any amount withheld.
Any claim payment exceeding Rs. 1 lakh, ICICI Lombard would make an advance payment wherein 50 per cent of the assessed liability straight away and the dues be settled after final invoice is raised. This initiative would also entail free health check-up camps, driver trainings on 'Am I a safe driver', access to cashless highway network and scheduled visit to the customers.
ICICI Lombard has started a toll-free helpline which runs around 24X7 as a gateway to solve customer's queries in a smooth and hassle free manner.
