MyTVS joined hand with Oriental Insurance, a public-sector non-life insurance company that has launched a product that will give emergency roadside assistance to the passenger car holder.
Known as the Our Oriental - MyTVS Emergency Roadside Assistance, this service is available to owners of cars that are less than 10 years old.
Under this scheme, one can get immediate roadside assistance if one meets with an accident or some relative emergency. The facility can be availed of by calling a toll-free number and the vehicle will be attended within 90 minutes on highways, an hour in cities and tow hours in ghat sections.
This service ideally costs Rs.1, 200 as an annual subscription charges if set up with MyTVS. With this scheme its absolutely free.
For cashless claim settlement, MyTVS workshops have also be authorized by Oriental Insurance. Initially this scheme will be available to the customers in the southern region. MyTVS wants to go PAN India by august, enabling Oriental Insurance to provide its service to policy-holders countrywide.
