For those above the age of 45 years, a medical check-up is compulsory. Insurers also specify compulsory health checks if the sum assured under the health insurance plan is high.
Some or all of the following tests are required:
- Complete Blood Count Report
- Fasting Blood Sugar
- Medical Examination with BP recordings
- Post Blood Sugar
- Serum Creatinine
- Urine Routine Report
All costs for the medical tests for the insurance are borne by the insurer.
