The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA has advised all the life and non-life insurance companies to make public, the name of their insurance agents engaged in malpractices.

The suggestion has been made as a result of rising complaints against the misconduct of these agents. IRDA wants the insurers to issue complete details of all the insurance agents engaged in malpractice on their website with the date from which that particular individual ceases to be an agent.
