To claim insurance assistance in case of financial emergency:
- You must notify the police within 24 hours of the loss of possessions and get a written report stating the same.
- You then register a claim with the insurer (or the Third Party Administrator, the TPA) along with copies of your passport and visa, the police report, and a written statement telling how you lost your possessions with details such as the type of loss, causes, circumstances, and the place where you lost them.
