Date : 11 Dec, 2008 Question I have taken loan from ICICI Bank. Because of higher ROI, I want to shift to some Nationalize Bank . for that i had enquired about the Take-Over loan with Bank of India, chandigarh branch and they said we will take your case as a special, they analyzed my case and send to Zonal office for Administrative clearance. After they found 4 no of bounce cheques and declined the case. To reach this stage, they had taken 15 days. Then i had given the logical clarifications about the "bounce of cheques" to zonal office, chandiarh. After convince with my reasons and my profile ( I am at senior position in Min of Defence), now they said we have to take permission from HQrs, bombay.This is the story of Zonal office Sector-17, Chandigarh. They had harassed me from 21-Nov ??2008 to till date. Now they are not sanctioning my loan because some time they are telling their boss's relative has expired or they are telling there is no chance of take over. Is it true? I want compensation and truth about my case? Can i go to consumer court for compensation or any other way to approach? Answer You can approach another lender for the take-over.
