Date : 9 Feb, 2009 Question A car loan has been disbursed by SBI to my car dealer for specific model. However the car dealer is unable to deliver the specific car for which the loan is approved. Can other model of car be purchased with this loan. Dealer is ready to deliver lower version of car. Any consequence? Answer You will have to inform the bank that the dealer is not going you the delivery of the specific model for which you had taken the loan and instead giving you another model. The bank will then tell you if you can take the other model with the same loan or not and if not then what other option do you have. |
