Do to increasing usage of plastic money retails players in India want to adopt new technology solution for customer payment.
Zinnov (Management research and consulting firm) predicts that the card based point of sale which is around Rs 32 crore ($ million) will rise to 18 per cent to touch about Rs 48 crore ($21 million) by 2012.
As reported by Business Line Mr Animesh Khan, Senior Consultant, Zinnov, says Management Consulting Pvt Ltd. The increase usage at point of sale (POS) would be determined only by increased implementation of information technology by retail stores for providing better payment gateway.
