ICICI bank plans to launch its new banking programs in three leading universities in West Bengal under its "Industry-Academia Partnership" program. The bank also plans to offer courses in insurance.
Calcutta University has more or less approved the launch of the course, and discussions are in progress with Burdwan University and Jadavpur University.
As a part of the partnership programme, the bank had tie-ups with various universities across India for industry-specific banking and insurance courses. The bank had already launched such courses in universities such as Manipal University and the Delhi University.
