Getting an education loan may be easier soon with the government's consideration of providing counter-guarantee for students seeking bank loans for higher studies.
The government is considering a proposal forwarded by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry which proposes that the government stands as guarantor for students availing educational loans. This will ensure that the loan obtaining process is smoother and the burden does not fall on the student's family.
