Date : 11 Aug, 2009 Question hi, i have an existing home loan with ICICI bank, i still have to pay 1426341, right now the intrest rate is floating and it is 11.25% i want to change from icici bank to any other bank or financial instituion which can offer me better service and lowest intrest rate and also change the intrest rates as per the market changes. i mean when RBI increases then this bank should increase and when RBI decreases this bank should decrease. but it should not be like when RBI decreases but this bank does not decerease. anyways subject to change. You should explore the option of changing
your home loan lender if you have maintained a good track record of
repayment on the loan. Tax calculation can change the view on pre-payment. You can
also check the 'Should I switch my loan' calculator on Apnaloan to
check whether it makes sense to change the lender. |
