Date : 17 Aug, 2009 Question Respected Sir, I am salaried person with monthly earning of Rs. 35,000/-. I want to obtain loan for Renovation/Repairs of Home, which is in the name of my Grand Father. I have also taken a car loan with monthly installment of Rs 8000/-. My queries are (i) Shall I obtain Loan of Rs. 4 Lacs as ownership is not in the my name (ii) If yes than Shall I get any benefit as per Income Tax for Repayment of Interest and Principal.(iii)How much tenure should be suggested for Re payment of loan? (iv) which type of Interest rate to be prefer i.e Fixed/Floating.? Answer 1) You may be able to get a loan based on your income, though your grand-father will have to be a co-borrower. |
