Date : 17 Feb, 2009 Question I have not borrowed any money from any Financial Institution till today.I am 40 years of age , married for last 12 years with no children.I own my home outright.If I apply for a Personal Loan , with 10 different banks at the same time, can I avail a higher amount than my actual eligibility? I mean 1 bank cannot offer me the amount so 10 lakh from five banks at the same time meansb taking up a loan of 50 lakh rupees. Is that Possible? Answer If you approach 10 different banks for personal loan then your eligibility will decrease and not increase because your one loan will have an impact on the other loans amount and also too many loans will affect your credit score. You can instead apply for a loan against property then a personal loan as you might get the required amount since it is a secured loan and also the interest rates of loan against property are lower compared to personal loan. You can apply for a loan against property on apnaloan where multiple banks compete your loan. |
